The news of the sudden death of Wilbur Wheeler of a heart attack at Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, on Wednesday afternoon, January 20th, was received to late to give the particulars in last week's issue of the press.

Mr. Wheeler was stricken while on the way to the station at Fond du Lac to take the train to Green Bay.

Born in West Chicago, Dec 1, 1884, Mr Wheeler was 58 years old and had lived in West Chicago all his life, with the exception of about twelve years spent in business here, he spent most of his life in the service of the Chicago and North Western Railway and the past twenty years had held the position of Assistnt General Storekeeper.

Surviving are his wife, Ellen, and seven children, Lawrence, Wilbur, Majorie, Eileen, and Kathleen of West Chicago, Pvt Richard Wheeler of Selman Field, Monroe, Louisiana and Marvin of the U.S. Marine Corps...There are three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's on Monday with Rev. F.A. McLaughlin officiating. Burial was made at Calvary Cemetery.
